Hunter's story
I showed up every day for something that never showed up for me.
"I spent years pouring everything into golf. I worked harder than anyone in the room. When it was gone, I had no idea who I was."
I played sports my entire life. Golf was everything — my identity, my worth, my reason for getting up in the morning. I showed up every single day, even when the results didn't come.
When golf ended, I didn't just lose a sport. I lost myself. That identity crisis became the most important moment of my life.
I started from scratch. Philosophy. Finance. Public speaking — even though I was terrified. I went from shaking in front of 12 classmates in speech class to delivering a TEDx talk in front of 86 people one year later.
My identity was never in the sport. It was in who I am.
